perfectly royal in her Cinderella gown. As she hopped off her throne with
her newly 4 year-old legs, I did my best not to let the tears gathering in the
corners of my eyes fall. She gave me a big hug and asked, "Where have you
I spent a few magical moments with her seated on my lap, as we
listened to stories shared by four of my friends. She listened intently,
all the while very curious about how we had arrived at her party. She was
very interested in seeing the horse-drawn carriage that I assured her was
waiting for my friends and I outside.
After the stories, we let
all the little princesses know that there was one more princess we hadn't
introduced them to. That's when we crowned sweet Aliveah with a tiara of
her own and sang her a happy birthday song written just for her.
We had so
much fun and when it was time to go, we could hardly pull ourselves away from
the newest little princess and all her darling friends. As we rode away in
our carriage, we couldn't stop talking about the enchanted afternoon we had
spent with her, and how we would never forget it.
