We were delighted to attend the Grand Ball with most recent graduates of The Princess Academy in Logan, Utah. As Rapunzel put it, "Best Day EVER!"
As I walked into a swirling sea of flowing dresses and sparkling tiaras, I was looking for one little princess in particular that I had met before. Her name is Aliveah, and I met her as she was on a well-deserved night out with her loving "Aunt Mom" Lisa. It was then I learned about her story, and I couldn't let her go unless I knew I would have the chance to see her again.

Kearns » The little girls seated at Tinkerbell’s green-slippered feet hung on the pixie’s every word.
They stared up at her in awe: This blond fairy flown straight out of a movie with wings and magic dust and a giggle that rang like wind chimes in the breeze.
She asked the birthday girl a question.
“Have you ever lost something?” she said. “Has anyone here lost something?”
It was such an honored to be invited to help Princess Bailey celebrate her 3rd Birthday. We had such a wonderful time together!
When I arrived at the party I was greeted by some of the most
beautiful princesses I had even met! At first Princess Baily was a little too shy to say hello. (I love the photograph of her cautiously practicing her curtsy from a safe distance.)

What's so fun about getting ready for the ball and meeting new friends? Well, everything!
